Two men have been charged with assault after an attack on a teenager in a fast food restaurant.

The men, aged 21 and 26, are accused of taking part in an attack on a customer at Kortoba Pizzeria, in Evington Road, Leicester, at 11.40pm on Thursday, August 9.

A 19-year-old diner suffered head injuries in the attack.

A second man was also injured.

Police confirmed yesterday that the 21-year-old suspect has been charged with GBH and ABH.

He was due to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court yesterday.

The 26-year-old has been charged with section GBH and witness intimidation and has been remanded into custody.
