Pair linked to distraction burglary bids
An elderly woman's jewellery stolen by a pair of distraction burglars.
The pair are thought to have visited at least three homes in the Humberstone area.
In one incident, on Sunday, February 17, a man and a woman knocked on an elderly woman's door in Pine Tree Avenue, Humberstone, and, after she invited them in and spoke to them for a short while, she realised some jewellery had been taken.
The couple, in their 40s, match the description of suspects in two earlier attempted distraction burglaries in Tennis Court Drive, Humberstone.
