Panto season: It's not behind you just yet...
Panto season continues on our amateur stages, and tomorrow night is opening night for Thurmaston Showstoppers, who will be presenting, Dick Whittington and His Cat Fluffy.
It will be running until Saturday at Thurmaston Community Centre.

Cold Ashby Panto take to the stage with, Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood, with performances from tomorrow until Sunday, at the Cold Ashby Memorial Hall.

For their next production, New Theatre Players, are inviting us into the surreal, comedy world of The Goons, with their production of Goons, Part the Third.
They will be performing in the Concordia Theatre Studio, Hinckley, on Saturday and Sunday evenings.
Seating capacity is limited and tickets are available from the theatre box office on Saturday morning.
Staying at the Concordia, the Hinckley Community Guild will be taking to the main stage with their production of, Whistle Down The Wind, a musical about a group of children who find a strange man in a barn who they believe to be Jesus.

Wednesday is opening night for the Festival Players, who are staging Alan Bennett's smash-hit play, The History Boys, at Loughborough Town Hall.
Set among a group of sixth-formers, the story is of staff-room rivalries as the teachers prepare their students to gain the required standard for university entrance.
The History Boys opens on Wednesday and runs until Saturday, February 25, with tickets available from the box office, 01509 231 914.
Looking ahead to Easter, and, Christ In The Centre, the story of The Passion, acted out on the streets of Leicester on Good Friday, April 6.
