Parents will today find out whether their children have secured one of their preferred secondary schools.
Leicestershire county council education bosses say most parents have received one of their child's three choices.

In all, 10,877 applications were received for Leicestershire's schools this year and 97.4 per cent of these received their first choice, 1.5 per cent their second choice and 0.1 per cent their third choice.
About one per cent – 110 pupils – did not receive a preferred school.

Leicester City Council has yet to release its figures.
Parents who applied online will receive an e-mail about the decision today and more information about the outcome will be available by logging on with their username and password at the website below. Due to essential website maintenance, this will not be accessible tomorrow and Sunday.
Parents who applied on paper or who have been refused a place at one of their choices will receive a letter from today advising them of their options.
