Manager Paulo Sousa is delighted by Leicester City's improvement
Delighted Leicester City manager Paulo Sousa described last night's 5-1 friendly win at Peterborough as a "huge improvement".
Substitute Steve Howard scored twice with DJ Campbell, Andy King and Dany N'Guessan also on target as City romped to an impressive victory against their League One opponents.

Sousa said: "I am very happy to see such a huge improvement and it is something which we will keep building day by day to get the results we want.
"It is easier to build confidence with the positive result which we saw on the pitch.
"We showed a better intensity and tempo and with our decisions on the ball.
"We have started to grow and want to keep doing so because this is the way I want to see it.
"It was not just because we won 5-1 but we also created a lot of other chances.
"There was a huge improvement too in our offensive organisation."
Howard took the main scoring honours with his late double off the bench, but Campbell's goal was his fifth in as many games since he returned to City following loan spells at Blackpool and Derby.
Sousa said: "He (Campbell) is very happy and very committed to me and the club and the fans. He loves the game in the matches and the training sessions and we have to encourage him to keep that happiness and will also push the other ones to have the same."
The only disappointment was the goal scored by Peterborough's Grant McCann when City looked as if they would keep a clean sheet.
Sousa said: "We don't like to concede and we have improved our defensive organisation but we have a long way to go. We can improve a lot more."
Sousa also cast his eye last night over Zlatko Hebib, a Swiss defender formerly with Grasshopper Zurich.
Earlier this month Hebib spent time on trial at Hull and played in two friendly games but was not offered a contract by former City manager Nigel Pearson, who is now in charge at the KC Stadium.
The 19-year-old right-back made a 25-minute appearance off the bench at right-back, replacing Robbie Neilson although he did collect the only caution of the game
City are also closing in on the signature of Slovenian striker Leon Crncic and Sousa said: "We will keep looking at players and, when we sign them, we will talk about them."

“Sexy Sue is in two peoples houses in 2 different Hemispheres at the same time! Sexy Sue, if you aren't Fred maybe you should tout him for business, he needs it, the sad loner.
I'm surprised the Police aren't profiling him yet, or maybe they are!”

“Oh no Fred is Sexy Sue! Don't go banging on about Campbell all the time Fred he is like you are a loner and a stirer.
Big Steve is taking all the knocks up front so as to unleish the likes of Matty and Campbell, to score for us.
You talk about all the other clowns Red Fred. But the biggest clown on here is you.
Fancy poting the rubbish you have under a womens name Sexy Sue. If I were a lady supporter I would dob you in for your filthy degrading comments.
You really should be out of here.
But hey it won't be long by the sound of things until you are.
Good on big Steve. He will find the back of the net this coming season on more occasions than Cambell will that is for sure.
Oh yes Fred when do we get Glen Moller out of your Arsenal of alias's in your empty swede to hurl abuse at good Leicester City like folk?
You are one sick puppy dog Fred!!
Seen Glen Moller anyone???????”

“No chance of seeing the game here, but it sounds like the team are coming to grips with the manager's style and playing some good football. They are obviously creating plenty of chances and a few are going in.
DJ is certainly letting his performances do the talking. No question that he has acted badly in the past, but who knows what was said to him behind closed doors.
SH is a goalscorer. Sometimes he has a lean run, but he always gives 100%. If the manager continues to pick him, it means that his contributions to the team outweigh the lack of goals when they're not going in.
You don't win anything in July, but nice to see a good spirit in the club and within the team.”
