Paulo Sousa has expressed his surprise at his sacking by Leicester City.

Sousa said in a League Managers Association statement that he believed the club had a long term strategy.

"To be sacked after being told that there was a long term strategy at the club and after only nine games in charge is something that I find very surprising," Sousa said.

"Richard Bevan, Chief Executive of the LMA said, "How can a chairman expect to deliver success at a football club when a talented manager is recruited and dismissed within two months, at the start of the season and is given only nine league games to put his own imprint on the squad and the club?"

    “Gil, leic
A brilliant and very truthful post. I hope the likes of SATNAV, and DOPEY FRED and all his yobo's in his big boof head. This club would have been gone without Milan.

I remember when he took us on board the fans were so relieved, our club was saved from the abyss of financial ruin.

But people forget that we were doomed prior to MM taking a rag tag mob of players and disgruntled supporters and Club on.

Good luck to Mandy if he goes to Pompey. He is a businessman and you don't become a millionaire by propping up a club like ours for ever.

He (MM) has left us in good hands with the Asian syndicate. They are willing to spend money where best we need it on players. But you get Idiots like that loopy Nav banging on about foreigners. He forgets he is one himself maybe only once removed!

If Martin O'Neil comes back to Leicester, (which I doubt he will)) If he looses 10 games on the trot like the last time he came to Leicester. Half the dopey so called supporters will be screaming for the slash and burn mob to dump him as well.

MON knows this I'm sure, and will give LCFC a wide berth as a result.

I wish Paulo all the best in his next appointment. Shame it didn't work out for him at Leicester.

But lets face it we have been plagued by bad luck and dodgy decisions by the officials.

So whoever comes to be the next manager it's up to the supporters to back him up. Win, loose, or draw.

    Up the City!!”

“Well the boys are off to Thailand on Monday, wishing you all the best of luck out there, lets hope you put on a good show for them.
Now for a word to Mike,Glenfield, Ive only been on here for about a month now but ive seriously got reservations about you, not sure if your a City fan or just a muppet, everything you write about is waffle, your comments are just and your always right ??????, personally Im considering hitting that "REPORT ABUSE" on the right because everything you type is abusing my eyesight to be honest 80% of it is c**p.”

“Don't criticise just because I have principles. If MM decided to sign eleven ex-forest players, an ex-forest manager, to change the strip to red and white and to re-name the club Nottingham South then maybe even you would boycott the club until it recovered it's senses.
    As I say, principles.

Wind me up as much as you want - it won't upset me today:
Sousa-lovers distraught as the inevitable happens .....oh, happy, happy days.”

“No, Danny - I've been a fan (H&A) since October 1968 but I vowed not to go whilst Mr.Smug was 'in charge'.
When you've been to as many City games as me THEN you can start telling me which club to support. Until then.................................., Mr. Sour Grapes 'cos I've been right all along.

"I can go and see my beloved City again!"

So, you weren't a real fan after all then Mike. Real fans support their team regardless.
