Photographer uses mobile phone to capture rainbows on the water

Two colourful rainbows reflected in the water of the Grand Union Canal on a stormy day provided the perfect picture for our latest photo competition entrant.

IT support worker Jon Young, who lives in Leicester's West End, was riding alongside the canal near Abbey Park when it started to rain.

"I decided to go home and I somehow managed to get in front of the rain and stopped to see how far away it was, when I noticed an amazing double rainbow, " said he 33-year-old, who is a keen amateur photographer.

However he did not have his camera on him, so captured the rainbows on his phone.
