The award-winning Pink Floyd tribute band Dark Side Of The Wall have been 17 years in the music business.

Still not as long as the originals, but an impressive achievement all the same.

They return to The Wycliffe Rooms in Lutterworth on Friday, February 25, for their first live show of 2012.

Since the addition of female vocalist Sofia Wilks last year, the band have gone from strength to strength, winning great reviews for their recent performances.

And Sofia's performance of the wordless Dark Side Of The Moon album classic The Great Gig In The Sky is proving to be a real show stopper.

The band's manager and bass player, Steve Chilton says: "Sofia's vocal performance on this track without lyrics is simply stunning, and as a result we're performing to open-mouthed Floydies at every show!"

If you've seen Dark Side Of The Wall before then you'll know it's a good show.

Their experience in performing the evocative music of Pink Floyd is second to none, but they also work hard to bond with their audience, and create a proper live show.

You can get advance tickets from the Lutterworth venue's regular outlet, Payne & Bonds Hardware Shop on Church Street, Lutterworth (phone 01455 552 411) or by contacting DSOTW either by email (band@pinkfoydtribute.co.uk) or by calling Mick Freeman on 07733 120 954. Tickets are £10.

“Steve from DSOTW here. Great to get a bit of Mercury coverage but I just need to point out we're playing at Lutterworth on FRIDAY 24th FEBRUARY, not Fri 25th as it states in the article! My press release was correct so this is just a journalist typo error. See you at the Wycliffe Rooms!”
