A revamped cafe and community centre could be built in a town's park.

The Harborough Improvement Team has drawn up plans to erect a new building in Welland Park, which has won a Green Flag award for its facilities.

A detailed feasibility study and consultation with the community is now being carried out. The project is being developed with the Self Unlimited charity for adults with learning difficulties.
