Pledge from Peter Andre: I'll keep you entertained
Anyone been watching this series of I'm A Celeb? Good, isn't it? Here, at The Week, we're particularly enjoying Rosie from Corrie and her attempts at eating ostrich anus, her five-second coffin trial and her tales of her £400 a month hair maintenance, writes Gemma Peplow.
But this is a music page, why are we harping on about the jungle? There is a reason. We're not going Insania.
Ooh, we can't fool you, can we? Yes, that's right: the six pack-touting, one-time jungle star, one-man reality TV machine that is Peter Andre is coming to Leicester – and we got him on the phone.
Which is a bit of a coup, we can tell you. He's a busy man, is Pete. He's just released his ninth – yes, ninth – album, and his tour starts tomorrow.

"The album is a real step up," he tells The Week. "It's called Angels and Demons. We all know we have our angels on one side and demons on the other and it's about the battle between them.
"I'm basically saying I know they're trying to help me but can they both just leave me alone."
The lyrics of this album were pretty important, Pete tells us. It's a bit of a departure from Insania.
"I think the lyrics of songs, especially now with people such as Adele, are really important. She's got people interested in the words, as opposed to just the melody.
"I think this album is about the lyrics. There's a song called Fly Away which is just lyrically beautiful."
The album was released at the end of October, so you'll have had a good chance to learn all the words before Mr Andre arrives in Leicester in the new year. And you can expect to get your money's worth from his show.
"I believe in putting on a show like the old greats used to," he says. "I know it's on a much smaller scale, but I mean people like Prince and Michael Jackson, they're electric.
"I'll give a list of songs so fans can choose their favourites and I'll use some of them and new material as well.
"I'll keep you entertained – that's more than a promise."
What with releasing his ninth album and touring, you would think he wouldn't have time for much else.
But you would be wrong, my friend. It would seem Peter Andre is a bit of a workaholic.
First, there was Bad Boyfriend Club – a show that saw him helping boyfriends see the error of their sometimes non-too-chivalrous ways.
"That's been fun. The title's a bit deceiving, as they're not really bad guys, they're just slightly not what their girlfriends want them to be.
"I'm not on there judging people and I would never want to do that. I haven't had the best success in relationship."
Ah yes. We couldn't really let an interview with Peter Andre go by without mentioning the famous ex he wooed in the jungle.
Unfortunately, when we mention Katie Price he says he "doesn't talk about things like that".
Fair enough, so, moving on.
"I've got a new shirt range, called Alpha, which has just come out. It's all handmade in Italy.
"I'd like to see someone like Beckham or Clooney wearing it. Or Philip Schofield. I love Philip Schofield, he's a silver fox.
"I think there'll be another series (of Bad Boyfriend Club) for next year and I've started filming for my reality show, My Life.
"It's great. You can see the kids have grown up and they're coming out with one-liners that are just brilliant.
"It's very funny. It's our life, it's never dull, there's always something going on.
"I'm in a new relationship. It's early days but we've known each other for two years, we'll see how it goes."
However, after the exposure his relationship with Katie received, Pete's trying to keep his love life a bit more private from now on.
"It's only very little that you see," he says. "I'd say 95 per cent of the time we're together is away from everything. I think you can have your own privacy if you want it."
Peter Andre plays De Montfort Hall, Leicester, on Thursday, January 17.
