Police cordoned off part of a town centre after reports of an attack on an elderly man.
The incident happened in Thorpe End, Melton, shortly before midnight on Thursday.

Witnesses said the incident happened at a house divided into flats.

One witness, who lives nearby but asked not to be named, said: "I came home at about 11.40pm and there were two lads at the door of the house.
"There was lots of shouting and eventually there were about five people there, all walking around speaking on their mobile phones."
Another witness, who also asked not to be identified, said: "I saw a police car blocking the road off. One of the lads ran off and it went after him."
Sergeant Paul Kear, of Melton police, said: "We are investigating an incident involving reports of an assault on a 70-year-old man by a 21-year-old man who was detained nearby.
"He is in custody and is being interviewed.
"The 70-year-old man was taken to hospital but released shortly afterwards with injuries which are not serious.
"A cordon was put up around the scene."
