A small amount of Class A and B drugs and a quantity of cash was also recovered during the operation.

The warrants were executed at 13 addresses in Highfields, Hamilton, Oadby and two addresses in the Oldham area.

Detective Inspector Mark Brayfield said: "By targeting the drugs suppliers we can hopefully address other crimes. It is a fact that some drug users resort to crime, such as burglary, to find items that can be stolen and sold to raise money to buy drugs.

"Crimes of this nature have an enormous effect on communities and by tackling the heart of the problem we can make this a safer place to live, work and visit."

If anyone has any information about drugs misuse, they should contact police on 101.
