Police issue CCTV image following shooting at Thread nightclub, Leicester city centre
Police investigating a shooting outside a nightclub have released a CCTV image of two men they want to trace.
Detectives want to question the men about a shooting outside Thread in Yeoman Street, Leicester city centre in the early hours of Thursday, December 27.
A 38-year-old man, who is understood to have been an employee at the venue – which was formerly known as Houstons – was shot in the leg near its front door.
He was treated at Leicester Royal Infirmary and released later in the day.

Police were called to the club at 3.45am. It was hosting a hip hop, R'n'B and house event called the Boxing Day Banger which had begun at 11pm the previous evening and was due to continue until 5am.
Detectives have picked out the two men after reviewing footage from CCTV cameras in the area.
Detective Constable Bill Beechey is investigating the incident, he said: "We would urge the people in the images or anyone who recognises them to contact us, even though the incident did take place sometime ago our inquiries are very much ongoing.
"We would also like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or the events leading up to it.
"If you haven't already spoken with police officers its not too late to come forward.
"Any calls received will be treated in confidence."
