Police release CCTV after man hospitalised

Police have issued CCTV images of a tattooed man they want to question about an assault in a town pub.

A 33-year-old man was treated in hospital after he was hit on the back of his head while he was trying to break up a fight in a pub in Market Street, Ashby.

The suspect is white, aged 20 to 25, and was wearing a short-sleeved brown and white checked shirt.

He has short brown hair and tattoos on his neck. Officers also believe he may have a distinctive tattoo across his shoulders and back.

The incident happened at 11.30pm on Friday, August 31. Police have not named the pub.
