Police have reissued CCTV images of three men they want to question about an indecent assault last year.

Officers are appealing to the public to help identify the men after another man whose image was released in the original appeal was recently traced.

The incident happened between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on September 20, 2011.

A 16-year-old girl was standing at the Clock Tower, in Leicester, when she was approached by three Asian men.

One of the men stopped to talk to the girl before making rude comments and then touched her inappropriately.

The man was interrupted when the girl spotted two friends and shouted to them.

He walked away with his two companions towards Haymarket shopping centre. They were followed by the girl's friends and an argument took place.

No one was injured in the incident or ensuing fracas.

The suspect is Asian, slim, aged between 20 and 30, with short spiky, black hair.

He was 5ft 9in, had a slight beard and was wearing a black leather jacket.

Images of four men were issued by police in November 2011.

Pc Pete Daniels said: "We have managed to trace one of the men who was in the area at the time of the incident but we would still like to identify the three remaining men.

"The victim was left feeling extremely distressed and I would urge anyone with information about the man responsible to call us immediately."

Anyone with information is urged to contact the police on the 101 number.
