A glamour model admitted cheating taxpayers out of nearly £2,500 in benefits while earning thousands of pounds on TV.

Lori Buckby (25), who regularly appears on TV porn channel Babestation, was illegally claiming carer's allowance to look after her sick father, who suffered a stroke five years ago, a court heard.

She told the Department of Work and Pensions she was not working at the time and was her father's full-time carer in Leicester.

It was revealed Buckby, who posts daily naked webcam shows on her internet site, was actually earning up to £4,000 a month as a glamour girl.

Eve Macatonia, for the prosecution, told South Western Magistrates' Court in south London: "Ms Buckby initially claimed carer's allowance in 2006 on the basis she was caring for her father.

"Ms Buckby submitted a review claim form in April 2009 claiming she was not employed and has not been for the last six months.

"But, in fact, she was working as a television presenter for Babestation TV on average between five and six days a week and her wage was between £2,000 and £4,000 a month depending on how many hours she worked."

Ms Macatonia said Buckby should have informed the benefits office of the change in her circumstances and the total overpayment to her was £2,406.45, which she has now started paying back.

Buckby, of previous good character, pleaded guilty to one count of failing to notify the Department of Work and Pensions of a change in her circumstances between August 4, 2008, and June 28, 2009.

She told magistrates: "I am very sorry. It will never happen again. I am so remorseful.

"I will do anything I have to to put this right."

Anne Crossfield, in mitigation for Buckby, said it had broken her heart when her father suffered a stroke in 2005.

Ms Crossfield said her client was very remorseful. She added: "Even when she moved to London, she continued to commute to the family home in Leicester every day to see him.

"The forms for benefits were physically filled in by her dad's partner and signed by Ms Buckby, then submitted.

"This was an entirely ill-advised thing to do and as a result Ms Buckby has ended up here.

"She is still a young woman with a very promising career and she appears to have struggled to cope with the responsibility of caring for her father. She has also suffered panic attacks when she gets stressed since the age of 16."

Buckby, of Lurline Gardens, Battersea, south London, was bailed until Thursday when she is due to be sentenced.
