Powerful debate
The ProWind Alliance (ProWA) would have us believe that "suitable local renewable energy projects" include the installation of massive turbines across the fragile English countryside already squeezed by urban and industrial development.
Whatever makes a project "suitable" must surely take into account the size of the machinery in relation to its surroundings.
I don't expect any person who supports wind farm development to be considering the environment over and above their own agendas. Anyone with sense can find out how destructive these turbines are, and how inefficient they prove to be.
