An exhibition on development proposals for the centre of a village will be held on Saturday.

The Barwell Village Improvement Working Group has been discussing a package of measures to boost the centre of the village.

Now it wants to know what residents think about the potential projects that could be brought forward as part of any future regeneration.

The exhibition will be in the former Fox Hair Design salon, in High Street, from 10am to 4pm. People will also be able to speak to members of the Barwell Village Improvement Working Group who will answer questions.

Councillor Richard Neale-Gardner, deputy chairman of the Barwell Village Improvement Working Group, said: "Understanding the views of the community towards the future regeneration of the village is important to us and we want to engage with the people of Barwell."

Plans would be financed by the fund from the working group, a consortium of the developers.
