Pupils' portraits fit for a king
Youngsters at King Richard III School have been painting portraits of the last Plantagenet monarch.
The pupils are the latest entrants in our artistic competition, which asks children to illustrate how they think Richard would have looked.
The best pictures will be printed in the paper and the winners will receive tickets for shows at Curve.
The boys and girls of the infant school in Andrewes Street, off Hinckley Road, Leicester, donned their painting aprons and came up with a variety of imaginative interpretations of the king.

Nikola Kazmierczak, seven, said: "We had to draw what we think he looked like.
"I drew mine with a really colourful background and the big head of King Richard in the middle.
"All of my friends have been coming up with pictures of how he looked but mine is the best because of all the colours."
The youngsters have been learning about the former monarch and visited the burial site not long after the bones were discovered.
Seven-year-old Dylan Logan said: "We've been learning all about Richard III. He died in battle and was king about 200 years ago.
"We've all done pictures of him.
"Mine is the best because it looks just like him."
Head teacher Jenny Barrett said: "Most of them have been copying the portrait we showed them and we've had a few really good attempts.
"They've all been fascinated with the discovery.
"It's been fantastic to do a bit more history and it has been lovely to see them so interested in it.
"It helps that the staff are all excited as well."
Our competition has three age categories – under-seven, seven to 11 and 12 to 15.
