Libraries will be challenging youngsters with free code-breaking and puzzle-solving activities during the half-term holiday.

Free activity sheets aimed at children aged six to 12 will be available to pick up and puzzle over.

The events run between Saturday, February 13, and Saturday, February 20. The challenges include logic puzzles, hidden picture colouring, a maze and a doubly difficult word search.

Anyone wishing to take part in Puzzle Mania is invited to drop in to one of the participating Melton libraries and pick up a free activity sheet.

Libraries taking part are Melton library, in Wilton Road, which is on 0116 305 3646.

Bottesford library, in Grantham Road, Bottesford, on 0116 305 3550 and the mobile library on 0116 305 3646.
