A knock-out blow saw Houghton Rangers take top spot in the Premier Division after a 1-0 win against previous leaders Magna 73.

It was always going to be a closely-fought affair but it was Rangers who ended the day with maximum points.

Braders are getting their season back on track after a 4-2 at Glenfield Town.

Glenfield were left kicking themselves after missing a penalty and the opportunity to level the game.

County Hall completed an impressive 6-1 win at Cosby United, with goals from Jamie Maher (4), Sam Collins and Kieron Mulligan.

Glen Villa beat fourth-placed North Kilworth 4-3 thanks to Ellis Jeeves (2), Karl Brooks Whitmore and Jack Morrish.

Mountsorrel move up to third with a comfortable 2-0 win against Huncote, Sam Green and Ben Sargent on target.

Birstall RBL beat Kibworth Town by the same scoreline thanks to a brace from Michael Humphreys.

In the League Cup, Premier basement boys Kingsway Celtic lost 3-2 against Second Division side St Patrick's.

The top-of-the-table clash in Division One saw second-placed Burbage OB cruise to a comfortable 5-2 win against Royal Anglians, goal machine Luke Richards scoring all five to take his season's tally to 23.

Beaumont Town moved up to third after they beat Queniborough 7-0, with four goals from Adam Johnson and one apiece from Michael Holland, Simon Moore and Sam Williamson.

Northfield Emerald are in fourth after a 4-2 win against Braunstone Trinity, while Ashby Road beat Fleckney Athletic 2-0 with goals from Luke Bishop and Bruce Robinson.

Jubilee made club history with their first-ever District League win, beating Belgrave 3-2 to move off the bottom of the table.

In Division Two, leaders Thurnby Valley returned from Broughton Astley with a 6-1 win, while New Joiners continue to lose ground as they could only manage a 1-1 draw against North Kilworth reserves.

Oadby Boys Club will be happy with a job well done against bottom-of-the-table Cosby United reserves, winning 6-1 after goals from Michael Brookes, Lee McLeod, Scott Morton, Jamie White and James Malyon (2).

In the Third Division, top played bottom when Glenfield Town travelled to NKF Burbage reserves.

Glenfield left with a comfortable 5-0 win thanks to Stuart Smith (2), Ryan Broderick, Dean Parry and Carl Read.

Second-placed Thurlaston lost at home to Mountsorrel, while Beaumont Town are in third after a 4-0 win at Huncote reserves, goals coming from Darren Jones (2), Rikki Ludlum and Scott Shawley.
