A recruitment firm hopes to grow after relocating.

Precision Recruitment has bought the 5,500sq ft Vivitar House, in Meridian Business Park.

The firm was set up in 2004 and specialises in finding candidates in engineering, technical construction and sales. It employs 16 people and has relocated from York Street, in the city centre.

Recruitment director Phil Walker said: "I have been hoping to find larger premises in the area for some time so when I saw Vivitar House on the market, I saw it as a fantastic opportunity to take Precision forward, offering expansion and a high-quality environment for staff, clients and candidates alike."

The property deal was secured by Peter Doleman, director at Leicester property agency Innes England, who acted on behalf of Jacobs Pension Scheme.

He said: "We are seeing a growing confidence in the out-of-town office market. This, combined with deals for good-quality premises such as Vivitar House, are leading to an ever-decreasing pool of stock."
