Recycle your clutter in time for Christmas
People planning a pre-Christmas de-clutter are being encouraged to take advantage of a free give and take website.
www.freeuseit.org is a site where Leicestershire residents can upload details of items they no longer want, in order to gift to them to those who might be
able to make use of them.

website has already diverted around 120 tonnes of waste away from landfill since it was set up in December 2009.
Items currently listed include board games, a mini hi-fi system and an Ikea double bed.
Guy Jackson, chairman of the Leicestershire Waste Partnership, said: "Freeusing over the festive period is a great way to either find quirky gifts or make
space for new ones. We hope people will have a look at the website and help make this Christmas a green one."
A free, Freeuse smartphone app, which was launched earlier this year, is also available to use.
