Red Nose Day: Tell us about your fundraising exploits
People across Leicester and Leicestershire are gearing up for a Red Nose Day filled with fun, frolics and laughter in support of Comic Relief.
Thousands of fundraisers have answered the charity's call to do something funny for money today.
Stunts being planned for Red Nose Day across the county include a sponsored "spook-athon" at a haunted pub, a mass Gangnam school dance and a fund-raising golf day.
Some people have already got their fundraising off to a great start including Pcso Vinny Preston, of South Wigston Safer Neighbourhood Team, who proved his mettle yesterday during a bush tucker trial.
Meanwhile Leicester beauty queen Nima Patel, joined youngsters at Kiddycare Angels Nursery, at Catherine Infant School, in Leicester, for their Comic Relief fundraising activities.
The kids and parents were involved in lots of activities including selling homemade cakes and sweet and sponsored tidy-ups! Here's a video from the day

“Fantastic to see the children get involved and I hope they have a great time making plenty of money for such a good charity. I hope all the locals will support these fun events wherever they are and give generously.”
