Relays produce plenty of drama
Leicester Coritanian men's team claimed the overall honours in the Round-Leicestershire Relays on Sunday.
But the real drama came in the battle for minor placings in the mixed teams event.

At the end of a 13-leg race around the county, there was just one second separating second-placed Harborough and third-placed Barrow after more than nine hours of competition. Charnwood took the mixed event as well as finishing overall second with Hinckley men in third.
Coritanian's victory was more straightforward with a winning margin of more than 14 minutes and team manager Tony Forryan said: "It's a great local event which we are delighted to support and we were really pleased with the win. There were some good performances from our lads."

Charnwood's mixed team posed the only real threat to Coritanian and there were a couple of stages – the legs run by Mark Couldwell, above, and Pete Swaine – when they held the lead.
But in what proved to be the pivotal leg, Coritanian's Derek Guess overhauled Nicola Thompson's four-minute advantage to give Coritanian a five-minute lead, which they continued to build on in the final stages.
Race organiser John Skevington said: "It was a good day and a good event. It was warm out there but pretty pleasant for most of the runners and we want to thank all the participants for continuing to contribute to what is a unique race run around the Leicestershire countryside."
