Church services and parades to remember fallen soldiers will take place across Leicestershire tomorrow.

They include:

Victoria Park, Leicester: A Remembrance Sunday service and parade will take place at Victoria Park, starting at 10.55am.

It will be attended by war veterans, and Seaforth Highlanders Association's pipe and drum band.

Lord Mayor of Leicester Councillor Manjula Sood and other dignitaries are due to attend.

Belgrave, Leicester: A new war memorial will be blessed at Belgrave Cemetery.

The event is part of the Remembrance Sunday service, which begins at 10.45am, near Red Hill Circle.

Loughborough: The town's main remembrance service takes place at Queens Park.

A parade leaves the council offices, in Southfields Road, at 10.20am. The Royal British Legion will be accompanied by soldiers from the Territorial Army (TA) and cadets.

The parade will gather at 10.45am at Carillon Tower war memorial.

During the two-minute silence, 5,000 synthetic poppies will be dropped from the top of the tower.

A rifle shot will be fired to signal the end of the silence and the parade will march into Town Hall Square to present medals to TA soldiers who have served this year.

Melton: A Royal British Legion parade starts from Thorpe End at 10.10am.

It will go through the streets to St Mary's Church, Burton Street, where the armistice service will be held.

After the service, the parade moves on to the Memorial Gardens, in Wilton Road for a wreath-laying ceremony at noon.

At 6pm, a Royal British Legion service will take place at Sage Cross Methodist Church.

Hinckley: A remembrance service will be held at the Memorial Gardens, Argent's Mead, at 10.40am.

The town Royal British Legion branch will meet at Mount Road car park at 10.15am, from where members will parade to the memorial gardens.

Burbage: A parade from St Catherine's Church to the village war memorial, in Church Street, will take place at 10.50am.

Market Bosworth: A parade will begin at the fire station, on Station Road at 9.20am. It goes to St Peter's Church at 9.30am for the Remembrance Sunday service.

Coalville: A service at Christ Church, in London Road starts at 9.45am. A parade leaves down High Street towards the town's Clock Tower Memorial for 11am. The parade will then march to the council car park, in Hermitage Road.

Market Harborough: Legion members will gather at Commons car park, in The Square, at 10am. The parade will march to St Dionysius Church, in Church Square.

A wreath-laying ceremony is due to take place in The Square after the service.

Wigston: The Legion will assemble in Elizabeth Court at 10am and head to All Saints' Church, in Bushloe End, for a remembrance service at 10.30am.

Following the service, the parade will return to Elizabeth Court.

Oadby: An afternoon service takes place at St Peter's Church, Wigston Road, at 3pm.

Oakham: A remembrance parade leaves All Saints' Church at 2.30pm.

Rutland: A Remembrance Sunday service takes place at 10.45am at Empingham Methodist Chapel, in Main Street.

A service is being held at Wing Parish Church at 10.45am.
