“Bikerdan, the story you've commented on is what we'd call a 'snap'. We uploaded what we knew at the time as soon as we had it.
I didn't really get the full story until just a couple of hours ago - and I'm still hoping to speak to someone from the club. Sometimes even apparently simple stories can take ages to bottom out.

“Hi, I worked on this most of the day - got drenched - and put everything together for tomorrow's paper. It happened outside a place called Thread.
A man was shot in the leg, but fortunately he's apparently doing fine and was released from the LRI this morning.

“Don't blame the LM for a lack of detail. The police are hardly likely to say much until they've finished investigations and it happened just before going to press.”
