Reward for a lifetime of top achievements
A business person who has made a very significant contribution to Leicestershire's economy will be celebrated at a new awards event next month.
The first Leicester Mercury Business Executive of the Year awards take place at the King Power Stadium on November 22.
As well as four main categories and an overall winner, there will be the Lifetime Achievement Award, sponsored by Leicester City Football Club.

There are no finalists for the Lifetime Achievement Award.
A panel of 10 judges has already chosen the recipient from a shortlist of 10 and the person will be named on the night.
The other categories at the awards evening are: business executive, small firm; business executive, medium-sized firm; business executive, large firm and young business executive.
The University of Leicester is sponsoring the event, as well as the overall Business Executive of the Year award.
Cambridge & Counties Bank is sponsoring the business executive, small firm category, while Government export body UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) is sponsoring the business executive, medium-sized firm category.
The business executive, large business category, is being sponsored by lobby group Leicestershire Business Voice.
The Sir Thomas White Loan Charity is sponsoring the young business executive award.
