Richard III dig: Open days to mark discovery at Greyfriars site in Leicester

A programme of Richard III-themed events and displays are taking place to mark the discovery:

The Greyfriars dig site, New Street: Open to public. Free. Saturday, September 15, and Sunday, September 16 – 11am to 4pm. Wednesday, September 19 – 5pm to 7pm, Saturday, September 22, and Sunday, September 23 – 11am to 4pm

    “Leicester City Council needs to keep the site, and convert to museum. Please don't restore it to a car park.”
