A main road was closed for over an hour after a car collided with another vehicle and overturned.

The incident happened at 2.40pm yesterday, at the junction of Hinckley Road and Wyngate Drive, in Western Park, Leicester.

Police closed part of the junction while debris was removed from the carriageway.

A spokeswoman for Leicestershire Constabulary said no-one had been injured in the incident, but could not confirm any details of how the accident had occurred.
