A road will be closed for periods over the weekend to enable work to be carried out.

The B582 Bushloe End, at the Station Road and Launceston Road junction, in Wigston, will be shut from 6.30pm on Saturday until 8pm the following day.

During the closure the alternative route available for affected B582 traffic will be via Station Road, Blaby Road, Saffron Road, Saffron Lane, Attlee Way, Asquith Way, Welford Road, Leicester Road, Bull Head Street, Moat Street, Bushloe End and vice versa.

Highway works on the B582 Countesthorpe Road and Saffron Road junction will be suspended during these times to reduce delays.
