Rugby Union: Market Harborough under-10s book final place
Head coach Graham Cook said Market Harborough under-10s were "ecstatic" after booking their place in the Prima Tiger Cup final with victory over Wolverhampton at Welford Road on Saturday.
Harborough scored two tries in each half to secure a 4-0 win at the 24,000-capacity home of Leicester Tigers before the English champions beat Gloucester Rugby 33-11 in the Guinness Premiership.
Cook said: "The look on the children's faces was unbelievable. They were ecstatic. They have done unbelievably well to get this far.
"They have gone from strength to strength and really stepped up to the challenge and are doing really well.
"When they were coming on to the pitch they got serious and had a few pre-match butterflies but it was their faces on the final whistle which said it all."
The Prima Tiger Cup is supported by Loughborough-based Prima Solutions and is open to under-10s teams from across the country. Now in its 15th year, this season's tournament attracted more than 50 entries when it began in November.
In their first-ever final appearance, Harborough will play Silhillians.
Solihull-based Silhillians beat Nottingham in their semi-final to reach the showdown, which will be played at Welford Road on Saturday, April 24 before Tigers take on Harlequins in the Guinness Premiership.
Tigers community manager Scott Clarke said: "All four semi-final teams can feel very proud of their achievements."
