Rutland Big Band to play Oakham and Leicester
A TREAT is in store for anyone who loves the sound of a big band.
On Saturday, (September 15), at 12.30pm the Rutland Big Band will play on the main stage at the Rutland Water Food and Drink Festival.
And in the evening the band will play at the Regent Club in the city from 8pm.
Their repertoire includes popular tunes from the 40s swing era such as Moonlight Serenade and American Patrol, through to Rock Around The Clock, Copacabana, Sir Duke and Van Morrison's Moondance.
