SCAMP (Student Community Action Play Group)
Voluntary
led student playgroup for children with special needs is running every Sunday
during term-time between 2 - 3.45 pm in the Charles Wilson Sports Hall,
University of Leicester (main campus). The ages range from around 5 to 20 and vary

The
playgroup is a free service available to the community and offers the
opportunity for families a chance to meet others and allows parents to take a
break knowing the children are in a safe and secure environment where they can
play, learn and have fun. Each week fun and interesting exercises and games are
organised, to encourage team work and allow them to develop interpersonal
skills.
