Scientists are taking part in an event highlighting the value of space research to the economy.

The event, at Hamilton House, in London, tomorrow, will say that space studies contribute £9 billion a year to the UK economy, in areas such as security, health and the environment

Dr Roland Leigh, from the University of Leicester's department of physics and astronomy, will talk about remote-sensing techniques for urban air quality monitoring.
