Scunthorpe manager Nigel Adkins is set to ring the changes for tomorrow's home clash with Leicester City.

Adkins will switch around his personnel in a bid to arrest a damaging slide for the Iron after four straight Championship defeats.

Midfielder Martyn Woolford and left-back George Friend are expected to be axed in the wake of the 3-0 defeat at Watford last weekend.

Friend, who has just agreed a further month's loan from Wolves, is expected to be replaced by Marcus Williams with Grant McCann coming in for Woolford.

Midfielder Matt Sparrow is out through injury but Iron manager Nigel Adkins is able to recall goalkeeper Joe Murphy after he served a one-match ban.

Adkins says his fans will continue to be on a "roller-coaster ride."

He said: "We are in the big league now, no-one said it was going to be easy and I am sure if the season finished now and we finished fourth from bottom, our fans would be delighted."
