Search for driver after cyclist hurt

Police have appealed for help tracing a motorist involved in a collision in which a cyclist suffered a broken shoulder.

The driver did not stop at the scene of the collision, in Norman Way, Melton, at 3.40pm on Wednesday.

The cyclist was taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary for treatment.

Pc Alan Summers said: "The collision took place on a busy road and there may have been a number of people in the area.
