Second man arrested in Hinckley murder investigation
Police have arrested a second man in connection with a murder investigation in Hinckley.
The 36-year-old was arrested yesterday in the West Midlands area and remains in police custody.

Police were called to a house in Hinckley at 10.45pm on Sunday where a woman was found with gunshot wounds. She was confirmed dead at the scene. The Mercury is unable to name the street the house is on for legal reasons.
Detectives have also been given more time to question a 27-year-old man arrested at the time of the incident. Officers were granted an extension by a superintendent to hold him in custody for a further 12 hours.

Officers want to speak to anyone who saw two hooded men seen in the area at the time of the incident and who left the scene in a dark coloured car parked in the street.
