Caterpillar remain at the top of the Senior League Premier Division – but Rothley Imps are still hot on their heels.

The leaders were 4-1 victors against Ashby Ivanhoe, while Imps rammed in seven at Sileby Saints.

Adam McNally bagged a brace for Caterpillar, Ryan Measham and Alex Roberts completing a convincing victory.

Steve Hart's treble spearheaded Rothley's drive to a 7-2 success, Ash Warner adding a couple. John Goultey found the net as well, to go with an own goal, on a poor day for the hosts.

Imps are just a point adrift of Caterpillar but have a game in hand.

Highfield Rangers' unbeaten record came to an end as they lost at Dunton & Broughton Rangers. Sam Estall hit the only goal of the game.

Cottesmore Amateurs scored their second victory of the season as they eased past FC GNG. Harry Stannard, Dave Gordon and Alex Brown shared out the goals in a 3-0 win.

Sileby Town added to Birstall United's struggles this term. They claimed a 3-0 win at Meadow Lane with Tom Marriott, Adam Boulter and Mike Hendy all netting as United slipped to second from the bottom.

Tyler Sibson hit a vital double as Kirby Muxloe Reserves picked up a fine win at Stapenhill.

Ben Law and Jordan Cufflin added their names to the scoresheet as Kirby ran out 4-2 victors to force their way into the top three, although they have played more games than the sides around them.
