Shock tactic to be used in litter fight
Bags of litter will be emptied in a school hall to shock students into using bins and recycling.
The rubbish will be dumped before pupils at Ibstock Community College, in Central Avenue, during a school assembly next week .
The assembly will be led by 12 geography students who decided to take action after they collected more than 600 items of litter in the school grounds in one lunch break.
Joe Willoughby, 13, said the most common litter items were banana skins, crisp packets, drinks cans and discarded sandwiches.
