Skills roll for college
Leicester College has been picked to oversee the quality of the training the National Skills Academy for Food and Drink provides for bakeries.
The college will take the lead in working with bakery industry groups to ensure academy training meets the highest standards.
The academy was set up in York in 2007 to provide businesses with easy access to professional food and drink industry training. It now includes more than 70 accredited training companies and colleges covering bakery, meat and poultry, seafood and dairy.
