Castle Donington: A slide show of pictures of Castle Donington old and new was presented by Castle Donington Museum at the Catholic Church of the Risen Lord, Castle Hill, to a good audience.

The slides were presented by Richard Haigh, with the old views from the Norris Pickford Collection, and the new ones taken by the speaker.

It took the form of a perambulation around the village. The proceeds of the evening were for Castle Donington Museum funds.

The Museum is situated in the Stone House at 4 Apiary Gate, Castle Donington, with a new exhibition on "Pleasures, Potions and Pastimes".

It will be open until the end of September on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays from 2.00pm to 4.30pm, (except May Day Monday from 9.30am to 4.30pm) and Saturdays from 9am to noon.
