Smiles all round as school is praised for its happy pupils
A primary school has been praised for its happy and enthusiastic children.
Glebelands Primary School, on the northern outskirts of Leicester, was rated "good" by Ofsted.
It shows an improvement from 2006 when it was judged to be "satisfactory".
Chris Down, chairman of governors, said: "Our commitment to a balanced curriculum is endorsed with music, dance, drama and art and design being described as 'strong'.
"Inspectors recognised the many improvements since the last inspection, which they considered was due to strong leadership from the head teacher, senior leaders and governors, the shared vision of the staff and their pride in working at Glebelands."
To improve further the school was told to offer individual support to pupils.
