Pupils from primary schools in Harborough district are being given tag rugby training by the police.

The programme is aimed at teaching young people new skills and introducing them with their local beat bobbies.

The six-session course will also provide the young pupils with personal safety advice.

Pc Kevin Love, who helped set up the scheme, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity."
