One of the top jobs at Loughborough Building Society has been filled.

Stephen Jeffries joins the mutual as its new head of finance, having previously worked in senior group finance roles at Barratt Developments' Bardon head office.

A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, he has also worked for some of the biggest accountancy firms in the East Midlands.
