Student flats firm Opal, which runs Grosvenor House, Leicester, goes into administration
A student accommodation company has gone into administration.
Ernst and Young has been appointed to run 13 companies which form part of Opal group, including Opal Portfolio 2, which manages De Montfort University accommodation Grosvenor House, in Newarke Street.
The 260 students who live there have been reassured the complex will continue to run as before and any rent paid in advance will be honoured.
Joint administrator Sam Woodward, from Ernst and Young, said: "We are keen to stress it is business as usual for the portfolio.

"The managing agents will continue to operate the properties and residents should continue to enjoy the accommodation and facilities on offer."
A spokesman for De Montfort said: "We are taking steps to reassure the students they do not need to be concerned."
The Opal group manages student accommodation in eight other UK cities.
