A 17-year-old college student has shown his entrepreneurial spirit by creating a website development and IT business.

While Warren Doyle was studying for an NVQ at South Leicestershire College, in Wigston, he took the opportunity to put his ideas into practice.

His business, FirstOrigin, specialises in website design and coding.

Warren, of Eyres Monsell, Leicester, said: "FirstOrigin was developed as a simple project but, after considering my future, I took it upon myself to develop it as a business.

"It will help me progress through university while at the same time having a good understanding of the business world."

Warren's tutors said he has a good knowledge of the IT industry and a sound understanding of how to run a business.

Companies have been watching FirstOrigin's progress. It has already produced websites for a few firms and also for a charity.

Warren said: "I want FirstOrigin to be a business that works around me but at the same time allows me to provide businesses with the services they require for website design and coding."

“This is a great business. A friendly and honest service providing innovative, exciting and professional web designs and hosting.
And for reference, he lives in Saffron, not Eyres Monsell.”
