His business, FirstOrigin, specialises in website design and coding.
Warren, of Eyres Monsell, Leicester, said: "FirstOrigin was developed as a simple project but, after considering my future, I took it upon myself to develop it as a business.
"It will help me progress through university while at the same time having a good understanding of the business world."
Warren's tutors said he has a good knowledge of the IT industry and a sound understanding of how to run a business.
Companies have been watching FirstOrigin's progress. It has already produced websites for a few firms and also for a charity.
Warren said: "I want FirstOrigin to be a business that works around me but at the same time allows me to provide businesses with the services they require for website design and coding."

“This is a great business. A friendly and honest service providing innovative, exciting and professional web designs and hosting.
And for reference, he lives in Saffron, not Eyres Monsell.”
