Student takeover discount event at Highcross Leicester

Highcross Leicester is holding a discount evening for students next week.

Hundreds of bargains will be on offer across the shopping centre on Tuesday evening, from 7pm to 10pm.

More than 40 retailers, including Levi’s, Topshop and Topman, H&M, G Star, Lipsy and Office will be offering discounts of up to 55 per cent, while students will also be able to enjoy deals at a selection of restaurants and eateries including discounts of Yo! Sushi, Ed’s Easy Diner and Aunty Anne’s.

The new ‘Rihanna for River Island’ clothing range launches on the same day, meaning students will be among the first to pick up the sought-after outfits from the 56-piece collection.

Tweeters can get their hands on a free tote bag by using the hashtag #HighcrossTakeover prior to the event, with extra goodies inside for 50 lucky visitors.

Students that RSVP to the event at the Highcross website also have the chance to win prizes including a £50 Highcross gift card, foodie freebies at Nando’s, Handmade Burger Co and Patisserie Valerie, and a three month membership at The Gym.

Highcross marketing and events coordinator Abigail White said: “We at Highcross can’t wait to show students in Leicestershire a fun-packed night of exclusive retailer offers, discounts and live entertainment.

"Our last Student Takeover during freshers' week in 2012 was hugely successful, so now that the autumn/winter season has passed we’re giving students the chance to grab a bargain from the spring/summer collections, with many more great deals on offer."

Students will need to have their student card for entry on the night.
