Leah Begley is a bit of a style chameleon, switching between different looks

to suit her mood.

Today, she’s dressed in a cute, printed playsuit from Topshop, teamed with

one of her favourite slouchy cardigans and a number of outfit-lifting

accessories, including a pair of gladiators, still going strong as the footwear

of choice for the summer.

“I bought the playsuit yesterday,” she says.

“I don’t like to have one style, I wear completely different things every

day.

“A lot of people would say I shop a lot, but I don’t think I do. I won’t shop

for ages but then I’ll come to a point where I think ‘I really need some new

clothes’ and then I’ll go out and buy a few bits.”

Following trends is a no-no, says Leah, who prefers to set her own style

agenda.

“I do look in magazines to get ideas I suppose, but when I go shopping, I’ll

pick up things I like, not just things that are in fashion,” she says.

The 22-year-old is a high street girl, with Topshop and Urban Outfitters

being her first port of call. “I’m at uni in Leeds,” she says.

“They’ve got an Urban Outfitters there, but obviously I can’t go here.”

But where were we? Oh yes, Leah’s likes and dislikes. “I’m trying to wean

myself off Primark,” she says.

“You end up spending a lot because you buy lots of things. I used to go quite

a lot at uni but I’m giving it up.”
