At the last measure, she tipped the scales at 9st 12lb and now slips into size 8 clothes.
She said: "When Rosemary asked if I would like to be on the cover I just thought 'wow, yes'."
Julia first featured in the Leicester Mercury in May last year, three months after joining our Fit2Win challenge with Rosemary.
She said: "When I began going to classes, my target was to get to 11st 3lbs and I reached that quite quickly. After that, I just seemed to be on a roll.
"I think it was because it was a lifestyle change. I was eating better and as well as my weekly Zumba class, I began doing aerobics.
"When my dress size dropped to a 12 I went out and bought a whole new wardrobe.
"Now, I am going to have to buy more. When I saw friends who were a size 8 I never imagined that would be me.
"Rosemary and her team are fantastic and have made me feel like a million dollars.
"It really has been an amazing year."
Julia is sticking to her new regime which is now more a way of life. She said: "I have loads more energy and am always up and about and doing things.
"I try to stick to a healthy diet Monday to Friday which gives me a bit more freedom at the weekends.
"I do allow myself a few treats, like chocolates, but I don't buy things like crisps any more.
"It never occurred to me before to count calories, but now, although I don't count each one, I have a better idea of how many are in certain things.
"I have also cut right down on portion sizes – so much is down to habit."
Rosemary said: "Julia is the perfect example of everything we aim to teach in Rosemary Conley classes – losing weight healthily and toning up beautifully through following a programme of healthy eating combined with exercise.
"We are all so proud of her and we have decided to use her on our national promotional materials for Rosemary Conley Diet and Fitness Clubs across the whole of the UK."
